Designing for Discovery — Scaling a Home Décor Brand from Aesthetic to Action

This up-and-coming brand made elevated yet affordable home décor vases, sculptural objects, accent lighting, and functional statement pieces. Their products were beautiful, but their growth was stagnant. Traffic was low, conversion rates lagged, and the brand lacked a cohesive voice across digital touchpoints. They needed a DTC strategy that matched the elegance of their products with performance that could scale.

What We Did

1. Brand Positioning & Messaging

We established a new brand story:
🪞 “Objects with presence. Spaces with meaning.”
This messaging unified the brand across ads, emails, and product pages—speaking to design-forward buyers who want both style and story.

2. Shopify eCommerce Refresh

  • Enhanced visuals with room-styled images, detail shots, and scale guides


  • Organized navigation by vibe (Minimalist, Modern Boho, Japandi, etc.)


  • Added “Shop the Shelf” bundles to increase average order value


3. Paid Media Strategy (Meta, Pinterest, Google)

  • Pinterest campaigns driving top-of-funnel inspiration


  • Meta ads featuring bestsellers in styled spaces with motion-first creatives


  • Google Shopping + Performance Max to catch high-intent search traffic


4. Email & SMS Flows (Klaviyo + Postscript)

  • Welcome flow focused on style identity quiz → personalized product recs


  • Cart + browse abandonment tailored to room type (living, kitchen, entry)


  • SMS-driven early access drops + back-in-stock alerts

  • Partnered with 30+ home influencers + interior stylists
